
Mike focuses his practice on sophisticated tax and business planning, including all aspects of estate planning for individuals and families. He has extensive experience advising closely held businesses and their owners regarding ownership succession and related tax and other legal issues. He also counsels high net worth families with respect to a variety of fiduciary matters. In addition to his law practice, Mike spent two years organizing and managing the startup of a nationally chartered trust company. Mike is recognized as a Leading Lawyer in Tax Law as well as Trust, Will and Estate Planning Law by the Illinois Leading Lawyers Network.
